Interesting idea, but the dissonance -- instead of sounding unsettling -- just sounds kind of muddy. Perhaps a synth sting or some sort of mechanical noises instead?

This song deserves listening through. It changes a lot after about a minute.
The background melody gets a little repetitive sometimes, I think you could vary it a little bit. And perhaps faint hints/stings of that bass guitar here and there before before it comes in for real at 1:13
In summary, lots of interesting ideas, but doesn't feel quite finished either. Keep working on it! It could be great.
I also liked the purely instrumental songs, and the experimental ones where the lyrics were nonsense; if you're going to use actual lyrics, I feel there needs to be more focus on them, so they're a distinct lead, readily comprehensible.
Is it just me, or do I hear a very faint strain of Commander Keen in this tune? Well done.
I'd call this 'video game music'
...which seems to be a huge genre for anything with electronic instruments that isn't obvious trance or techno.
Compressed to hell and back
You saved it as 128kbits, looks like, which shouldn't be THAT bad, but something along the way ruined the audio of this song. You can even hear this underwater-wobble thing.
Have you been repeatedly re-saving this as mp3 as something? that makes the distortion worse every time, like resaving a jpg.
Yes. You're right. Original file was compressed to 300 kb size due lack of high internet speed that time.( it was 5kb/sec speed then), so i just opened this compressed file and converted it to 44khz.) "True format" can't be found anywhere, so this is only remaining version of song.
Very interesting rhythm
It uses harsh instruments and isn't cookiecutter, and a lot of people don't like that, but I don't know why people rate a music down for not being a genre they like. Well, here's me against the useless zerobombers anyway.
You could add some more complexity to the percussion, though this is a real good start as is.
It would also be nice if it looped smoothly.
In some places you might want to turn down the bass melody just a touch so the high notes aren't fighting against it so much.
Thanks for the helpful comments =)
Another Rousing Rendition of Race Around The World
Very nice, but we've heard these a time or two before.
race around the world, again?
I still hear it in nearly everything you write. This one's a lot jazzier and avoids repeating it exactly but it's still trying to fight through. Which it does despite all the changes since it's the most consistent rhythm in it. Sorry man, but you've got to move farther away from your inspirational material.
thanks, and i guess youre right. but its not that "its so much alike race around the world" its just that i love that style and lines in general. im fully aware that its not something brand new every time, but thats not the point, either. listen to dubstep, or punk pop for instance. its the same all over there too, even if the bands are diffrent! i just make what i like to listen to these days. at this point im not really trying to be the new big thing every time. it will change, ofcource. when i feel im done playing with it :]
Holy cow.
I was browsing through the typical list of random new submitted stuff, full of 17-second ramblings things titled mispelled bits of anatomy, and clicked this on a lark. WOW. It's almost like nostalgia, but completely new...
Right, now, 4 votes in, you've got 5.000000/5.000000. Suffice to say: This stands out. Here's hoping this gets featured.
Hey! Thanks a lot for the positive words. I'm glad you enjoyed it, after all, music is to feel it :D
The feedback I'm getting here has inspired me to clean up and post more of my small library of music, which I make as a hobby. So far I'm (de?)composing using old-fashioned tools like FastTracker II. If you know better free tools, I'm all ears!
